STOP SPIRALING, FIND YOUR FOOTING.
I help LGBTQ partners and individuals find their focus and live the lives they’ve always wanted.

Hi there, I’m so glad you’re here!

*I currently have limited availability for new clients, but I’d be glad to let you know when a slot opens up. My waitlist is typically about two months out. If you would like to be added to my waitlist, please email me. I look forward to hearing from you!*

My clients have struggled like you do. Despite being smart, driven, and well-liked by family and friends, they still feel unfulfilled. When they first come in, their relationships seem to have plateaued. They feel disconnected from their partners with whom they once felt passion and deep love. Sometimes they feel like their careers are in a rut. The monotony of the daily grind has drained any excitement they used to feel about their work, and they’d like to feel that enthusiasm once more.

The people I meet experience shame, anxiety, and depression from a variety of sources, be it the religious wounds of their youth, a history of rocky relationships, or the challenges that come with simply being a gay person in society today.

These things seem to get in the way of the life they want. They aren’t the kind of partner or friend they want to be. They feel like they’re living life without direction or purpose. And their confidence at work is fading.

Before they came to see me, my clients were full of self-doubt. They worried that they would never overcome feeling rejected by their family-of-origin or the pain from their past. They knew they could achieve the level of fulfillment in their jobs, relationships, and personal lives that they imagined- they just couldn’t quite get there. Like my clients, you deserve to have a satisfying and meaningful career. Rich and fulfilling relationships are not out of your reach. Your past doesn’t have to haunt you. If you want to be rid of the patterns that are keeping you from meeting your full potential, I’d love to help you get there.

Email me now. You don’t have to struggle. I can help.

About Me

Hi! I’m Jaclyn. I live in Austin, Texas with my 2 beautiful children. When I’m not in my therapist chair, I enjoy my PELATON and building new LEGO creations with my kids. I grew up in Northern California, where I developed a deep love for good wine and the beach. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve wished Austin was closer to the ocean! Other interests of mine include traveling to new places and baking. I enjoy collecting vintage psychology books and vinyl records. I’m always looking for the next great relationship podcast or self-improvement book, which I think says a lot about how much I truly love my job.

My Style

My priority as your therapist is to see you thrive in your current life right now. I will recommend practical tools to help you in your daily life while also working through past wounds.

I consider myself a straight-friendly therapist. However, I love working with people in the LGBTQ community, not only because I identify under that umbrella, but because there are many nuances that affect the daily lives and relationships of gay and queer individuals that are unique to our population. I also have significant experience working with couples, anxiety, depression, and ADHD. Together, we will look at the roots of your struggles and find tools to help you reach your full potential.

Training
I earned my B.A. in Psychology followed by my M.S. in Clinical Psychology from Vanguard University of Southern California. Additionally, I’ve received training specific to working with alternative relationship structures, including ethical non-monogamy, and I have training for and experience working with trans and nonbinary people. I’m also trained in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), a highly acclaimed research-based approach, to lead my clients to more bonded relationships and healthy attachment. My education and experience have brought me to a place where I believe I am uniquely qualified to meet you where you are. I can’t wait to meet you and get started on this journey. Email me to set up a time fo us to meet.

Are your relationships feeling strained due to spiritual trauma or differences? Do you feel depressed or anxious because you no longer feel like you have a place to belong? Many people, including LGBTQ+ people and their allies, have experienced some sort of religious trauma, spiritual deconstruction, or an overall disenchantment with church and religious institutions and find themselves disoriented and alone. Like you, my clients have struggled, sometimes feeling as if they can’t be their authentic selves, feeling pressured to be a people-pleaser and afraid of the consequences if they don’t. But it doesn’t have to be that way.
Imagine breaking free from those struggles and living an authentic life free of shame and guilt, full of connection and self-love. Change is possible, and I can help you get there. My therapeutic methods meet you where you are, and I offer my clients a safe, caring, and empathetic space to process what they’re going through.
Having done my own spiritual deconstruction, I know the disorientation that can accompany it. I want to empower you to find strength and wholeness no matter where you land spiritually. Call or email me today. You don’t have to go through this alone.
